Janey, is that the Bumble Bee`s eye i can see? If you look just above the
first leg, it really looks like a eye...what a wonderful close shot, did you have
to put yourself in a funny position to take this LOL

No I don't think that's it...though it does look like a little eye! Right at the front of its head it has 2 large compound eyes, that's one of them shining above the first antennae...in front of the leg. There are also 3 small shiny bumps which are occelli....these are sensitive to any change in light and how much...I think!!
