Ours still in bud Eileen....but lots to come.A favourite...reminds me of childhood...they seemed to be everywhere...and they towered above ! Lol

BB we were just talking bout that here the other day.very seldom see them growing wild now. i grew some from seed last yr and my sisters neighbour now has them in her garden, she said loads of folk stop to admire them and they have all said they remind them of their childhood

Fab Eileen - bit the bullet and "bought" one the other day as had no joy with seeds. It looks like a bigaul lettuce at the mo but look forward to it coming on. Reminds me of holidays on the Isle of Skye where they still grow wild.
