Ipomeae, coleus, geranium and moonflower in this shot. I'm enjoying the colors and the ipomeae flower. I didn't know they did this.

Thanks. I always thought of the chartruese as the sweet potato vine. I love this dark one.
My theme on the porch is yellow and pink. I like this dark foliage with it.

I've used my slightly interesting fact twice in the last 24hrs now!
But please DO NOT eat them unless you are absolutely sure, as many Ipomeas are POISONOUS!!!!!

Of course, morning glory is in that family. I wont be eating any part of these plants. ... :-)

They are lovely aren't they? This has been one flower after the other. I hadn't really seen them blooming before on others. I'm not really sure what got this one going.

TY. I have managed a lot of color even before the blooming begins. Good here where the weather can change quickly. I am amazed the flowers keep coming!

There are quite a few differing Ipomeas, including the sweet potato. The leaves on yours & the flower are very similar to the sweet potato.
