It is my personal favourite .. .. the foliage is the green leaves you can see carole .. the white ' flowers ' are not true flowers they are called bracts , at least that's what I was told .. .. I've tried taking cuttings with no success strange when other dogwoods take so easily .. :o)

Very nice Amy. Have you tried taking some cuttings in early Spring or even layering a low twig.
I took some cuttings of dog wood this year and they're growing. I made a slit in the ground and filled with sand and put the cutting in with just a quarter of the length above ground. Looks like its harder to get these going though.

Do you think the rainy weather suits them Dd ..?

I haven't tried layering a low twig Dawn I could try that .. I have tried cuttings at other times of the year .. A friend has told me they are very difficult to propagate ... it's strange because the other dogwoods take very easily just by poking them in the ground .. I'll have a look i'm not sure if there is one near the ground !

My ordinary dog woods layer themselves, lol. It would be so nice if you could find a technique.

It would Dawn , but so far I haven't managed it , I've even tried growing the seed from this shrub , no luck yet . :o(
