thanks. The lavender got flattened with the snow, so its gappy in the middle. will hate to replant it, ive been threatening to do it for the last three years but the hedge is now 4 feet wide and I couldnt bare to see all that bare earth while a new hedge becomes established

hi OB.glad you like. some plants are suffering a bit from the heat, such as the geraniums. we havnt had much bird life as we stop feeding them during the fledgling season as we have a cat,and as dim as he is he is an opportunistic hunter who sometimes gets lucky.

That's lovely, it looks so peaceful...........:-)
