I've started removing some of the 'anonymous pink geraniums' and replacing them with much nicer ones - like this!

My goodness, Grindle, their roots were as tough as old boots! It was a real struggle to remove two smallish clumps - but I'm determined. There are too many of them, taking up room that other much nicer ones can have. I ordered a beauty called 'Sirak' at Wisley...so out will come my fork again. :-)
The ones I removed were under the Berberis if that rings bells.

I only came across it at an open garden a couple of weeks ago - and fell for it. I do hope that Wisley comes up with it for me...OUT will go those a.p.os....well, some of them, anyway!
Go for it, Dd....don't you find that they spread like fury?
