My Mysore plant is putting out hands of bananas. This ladyfinger banana is my favorite. Each hand (which is pictured) will have around 18 bananas...and this variety usually produces 12 - 14 hands...which makes it a very productive banana. This very sweet variety of banana is extremely popular in India, where it's native...and commercially grown. Photo taken July 9, 2010.
