Do you ever pull the stamens off to make them last longer?

I didn't know about that Wagger, is that what you do, does it work ?
I'll try it :-)))

I've read it but never tried it - I'll give it a go too! It's supposed to work because it can't be pollinated which is when flowers normally die having done their work.

I have really fallen in love with this plant!

Wagger, have you tried this yet ???
I did it at the weekend and ....... :-/
The bloom died within a couple of days, i am soooooo disappointed - whoever thought this would work is very wrong because it seems to have quite the opposite effect :-(((((
I'll be interested to hear your results.

I didn't try it, Louise - I fell down the stairs instead so didn't get into the garden for a few days, pulled something in my foot. Back running around now. So sorry it didn't work - I will try to remember to try it on one or two next year.

Oh dear, how on earth did you manage that ;-/
Probably the same way we all come to grief - trying to get several things done at once because if 'we' don't no-one else will :-/
I hope the muscles/tendons heal soon, feet have such small bones too that it's easy to damage 'them' aswell :-(

The light in the stairwell comes from the bathroom window - there was a wasp in there so I closed the blind, didn't put the light on, set off down the stairs and there was one more step than there should have been (not the first time that's happened, lol). The radiator stopped me crashing through the wall. Hadn't had a drop, honest!!!

There's something about steps and stairs isn't there ?
They're designed especially for tripping and falling !!!
