Lychnis coronaria

Lychnis coronaria (Lychnis coronaria (Rose campion))

I do love these plants, both the cerise and the white flowered ones.

they are lovely...the leaves on mine look quite sad because of this heat & they normally put up with the dry & heat so well...hope to have some rain soon !

I love them too....but so do the sparrows!!!....they tear the soft downy leaves off for their nests...so I don't grow them anymore.....Actually thats just given me a thought.....I could plant one on the allotment....don't get sparrows there!!

Well! At least the birds leave mine alone! I didn't know they did that, Alice....

Sooooo many plants are suffering, aren't they. I had beautiful buds on some Astilbes, and they've dried up without flowering. Boo-hoo!
