Hanging baskets

Lovely display. I have a couple of hanging baskets but must have done something wrong as the water just pours out of them although they are plastic lined :(

Thanks Gee water compost and all washed out of one of mine when torrential rain was too much for the gutter!! thats why I was under there in the rain taking pictures!! it was so black it looks like a night shot :o)
I don't know that you've done anything wrong I always prick a few holes in the plastic to save them becoming water logged then when I water and it runs through they're done!

I've now taken to standing mine in a bucket for half an hour to let it soak in!

i'd never go for fuchsias, myself, but they have grown on me, so to speak, as usually find varieties to fit in with our themes, lol! Once they are blooming, however, I like them. :-))

I only had hardy Fuschias here before but decided to try them this year having seen so many nice ones on Goy, I guess I'm hooked now I just hope I can keep them safe for next years baskets :o) (pardon my pun lol)
