Yes it's a puzzle Gee I planted wild flower seeds in a patch I prepared, they are not as illustrated on the box however :o)

I've just been poring over the wild flowers in my Wildlife of Britain book but no luck really although I did consider Sheep's Bit Scabious (not related to Scabious apparently!). Can you get any closer to your plant for us to have another look? :)

Thats ok Eileen my daughter has told me it will photograph better if I pick one and then photo it so I will try that :o)

It's Phacelia tanacetifolia. I had it identified for me recently. Have a look at my pics and you'll see it.
Did you get it in a pack of seeds ?

Aw thanks Hywel 3 of us - because I always check out all your pictures!! Yes it was in a box of wild flower seeds to attract butterflies and bees the pictures on the box are nothing like the flowers emerging in the patch however :o)
p.s. my excuse I didn't check photos yesterday, your photo is lovely and your flowers fully out too.

Disappointing when that happens mine was a big box of seeds from Aldi I've still got half.........I think I'll treat the roadside verge to the rest lol :o)
