do you protect in winter toto, i have a new one which is quite young, no flowers this year and not sure if i should protect it, they are lovely

I don't protect mine Sandra but others say that you should so I'm not sure.

I would Sandra, I lost 2, a young one and an established one, they are on the tender side for us up north.

Hi Toto, hope you're OK. You are very kind but I was actually quite shrewd, as I collected some seed last Autumn, I must have had an idea I was going to lose it .... I must check to see if the seed is ready to come out of those hard capsules, but thanks anyway.

It's gorgeous, I wish it were hardy for me.

They're not hardy everywhere here either but mine is in a fairly sheltered position.
