i cant have them indoors either barbara, give me headache and feel sick, but im ok with them in garden thankfully ;o)

That's good. I know that 'Stargazer' lilies can affect people - so I suppose that any scented lilies would, too.

yes all scented lilies barbara, i find them over powering, they have them in shop at work sometimes and 3 of us end up with headache and feel ill ;o(
today they had scented white peony which were beautifull and such a lovely scent to, i was ok ;o)

They sound great! I haven't got any peonies - I have a tree peony that hasn't flowered yet....I don't think the flowers will have a scent, though. :-(

My friend gave it to me 2 years ago, when it was about 6" tall...it's up to about 3' now. I'm hoping for flowers next year. I have no idea what colour they'll be, though. Do you know about yours?

mine is "Lu He Hong" is about 3ft also and should get deep pink flowers barbara, it seems fine and has grown more leaves and stems this year but thats it ,

If mine turns out to have yellow flowers - what on earth shall I do? It's in the pink and mauve bed. :-((( Yours sounds lovely.... xx

ok, one person said they prtected it in winter and got flowers the next year so may try that and see, anythings worth a try
