Went to Manor Farm with some friends and their grand- daughter, forgot to take the camera, so used my phone to take this character, could not resist him.

Look at those feathered legs, beautiful. My Dad kept chickens, banties, ducks and geese when we were little, love them.

We use to have a couple of Blackrock chickens wandering around the garden free range until a couple of years ago , they were great fun , they would come tapping on the back door whenever thay wanted a grape they loved them , they laid beautiful eggs to !
