If you have the space Yorkshire it's worth a go next year!

does it spread far

I grow it as a climber - ideal as it's not too heavy so good for wooden fences. Six foot height and width would be more than enough space for it with our climate.

A beautiful plant. How hardy is it? Would you treat it as an annual?

Very much an annual, although being of the Nasturtium family, it is easy to grow from seed.

Featured on: nasturtiums
See who else is growing Tropaeolum peregrinum (Canary creeper).
See who else has plants in genus Tropaeolum.
