Yummy I love sweetcorn , have you tried growing the baby ones David ? , they are good but because they are small you need to grow a lot to make it worthwhile .....

I've never noticed variegated leaves on sweetcorn before, 6d, and i noticed it this time. Reminds me a bit of Canna "Triopicana "Gold". :-)))
Never tried babies, Amy, which should, by their very size, be delectable. Have never had the space to grow a lot of plants of this, though. :-((

I wouldn't bother unless you have masses of room David , they take up the same room as the large one but you finish up with only a handful of baby ones , very tasty but a waste of room ....... :o-)

Many Thanks for that, Amy!! Hoping to have more room to grow-me-own next year at my "other garden" owners are vegetarain, so are very keen to give me a large space for edibles. :-)))
