My Very First Daylily

At last Carole, lovely, loads of buds to come too.
The flippin magpies seem to have taken a fancy to mine, went out the other morning and there were buds, flowers and leaves everywhere, wondered what had done it, but today caught them at it, don't know why, think they're going through the awkward teenager stage,lol.

I am Sandra, last year Pond lady sent me some Daylily seeds I planted them not haveng much faith in them sprouting, but they did and today I have potted them on they are doing so well, Im expecting wonderful displays next year, thats unless they take another 4years to flower lol

Thanks Amy, Sandra put a picture of a plant for identification, and guess what it was ? a species of your mystery plant and obviously I was able to inform her of the name lol

I know Carole , I saw it , it is a Sanquisorba but a different one it is pink , ours is Red ... San has given it a name it's Sanquisorba Obtusa ... . I'm going to try to get a pink one if not San has kindly said if hers can be split next year she will let me have a little piece :o))

How big does ours grow Amy? I was worried it was dying on me earlier in the week, but hey its got lovely bright new leaves coming through now;0)
