yes i like the dark leaves janey, hope it stays with me, would you leave them in ground or take them up janey,

I`ve not been very lucky overwintering my Dahlias Sandra. I DO lift them and last year I stored them in dry compost but they still rotted. This year I`ll going to coat them with yellow sulpher to try to prevent it happening again. I know some people leave them in but my soil is far to heavy and the winter would finish them off......
