Brimstone Butterfly

Have you seen the results, so far, of the Big Butterfly Count ? Small white is top of the list of 10, then large white, gatekeeper, meadow brown, common blue, peacock, green-veined white, red admiral, small tortoiseshell and ringlet.
I have yet to see a Gatekeeper in real life !

Lol Cristina!....:o) That's interesting Shirley.......yes there have been loads of small whites this year.....haven't seen a Gatekeeper either...maybe they're all locked in Cristina...and can't find the key....Lol

This is the worst year I've ever know for butterflies here in Norfolk. A bumper year for Dragonflies though !

Ha...ha Amy......maybe they'll do better next year Andrew....lets hope we have a warmer spring. Enjoy the dragonflies though.........
