It's also quite a long lasting flower Camillia.
Thanks for the nice comment on the photo too - when photographing flowers using the flash we have to accept that some shadows are unavoidable. So what I thought was that I could use the shadows to "loose" the flowers stem and make it look as if it was floating - it took three shots before it was totally successful. This is one of Sue's favourite plants of the year, and so I wanted a really good shot to frame for her!

It's just a Nikon D40 Tasty, nothing flash. As I said to Camillia, shadows are inevitable, so I thought that I could use them to make it "float". One of those instances where things came together!
