Thanks, its nice when you see something spectacular and actually capture it. I have a file on "pictures that make my day" ..its not a big file but when I really feel down and its piddling with rain, I look at it and I stop feeling sorry for myself and start counting blessings!

yes Ann we can see Ashton Court from our garden and the Bristol Balloon festival rises from there every August. We have a prime view of the night glow from our bedroom window!

Lucky you, I have always wanted to go to it. We have a smaller festival in Northampton, it's lovely when the balloons fly over :-))

I do think it was the best shot I have taken with a camera, the other that rates for me cos its also quite amusing is the girl in the window..not far from where you found this pic.
