Busy Bumblebee

I caught one of my busy bees poking into all the dorotheanthus flowers as they opened for midday sun. Must be the brilliant color, there isn't any scent. It seemed to really love them, almost as much as the bidens, a bumblebee favorite in my garden.

Thanks. SO cute seeing this big bumbler sticking its face into these little hairy flowers. :-)

Thank you both. :-) I'm very fond of our bumblebees. They are enormous (2cm long) and have a dark orange stripe across their backside that you can just see. They are one of my most treasured visitors. I hadn't realized they were very special until a neighbor visited and couldn't believe I had bees. I thought everybody had bees. Lol!
