Thanks for naming my physalis. Your heuchera is SO dainty. Never thought of putting one in a pot.. I have several in the gaden amongst artimesia.
30 Sep, 2010
Anther delight Sanbaz and Roseberry mien are all in pots and growing well and the oen that in the ground not at all will need to replace with something else.
I think they would also look very nice in hanging baskets with winter pansy.
1 Oct, 2010
Lovely plants and so many colours of leaves to choose from and they seem to flower all summer too. I broke some cuttings off and just stuck them in the ground in July and they all took.
3 Oct, 2010
I love the dark ones best ............... they are so dramatic. Yours does the job beautifully, and I like the thought of cream flowers as well.
3 Oct, 2010
thanx roseberry, scotkat, linda and silverbelle for your comments,

4 Oct, 2010
Oh love the frill and lovly colour,i have just one so far, but im going to look out for more, can you please tell what to do for winter do they die back, i have mine in a pot shall i leave it in there for winter.???
20 Oct, 2010
hi margaret glad you like this one, its one of my favourites of the ones i have, love the frilly edges so much, they should be ok over winter, mine were last year, a few tatty leaves come spring which i took off but soon got lots of fresh growth through the spring and summer, so im sure yours will be ok in pot to, alot of people place their pots on a south facing wall over winter for extra warmth, if you can do that, i dont have a south facing wall in my back garden so i normally just shelter them in a corner away from cold winds, hope this helps ;o)
20 Oct, 2010
Thanks San,but can you tell me if it dies right back like say Astilbes or Fuchsias.sorry to be a pain
20 Oct, 2010
sorry margaret forgot to tell you that bit hahah , no they dont die back, they are evergreen, think thats why i love them cause colour all year round ;o))really tuff little plants
21 Oct, 2010
