Thanks Milky!

looks like you have a good zoom or do they let you get that close

Floralhead ... these two were following me around the garden that day and perching on branches close-by. I didn't have to zoom too much at all ... they're still not what I would call 'friendly' but more like 'comfortable' with my presence.

What a cute little pair :)

Yes there certainly are, Tasteyg ... they were buzzing me in the garden today!! I think they might be two of the juvenile males in the family that lives here.

Just catching up with my favs photos.....love this pair Bernie :o)

Thanks Neellan ... you're right in calling them a pair too. I think they're siblings ... probably young teenagers ... and they're usually together. They travel around like a pair of best buddies.

Enchanting photo ... so pleased you put this on. : o )))

Glad you enjoyed the snapshot, Shirley. These two are like cheeky little children ... they follow me around the garden and keep an eye on me!

Doesn't really compare with a solitary Robin daring to sit on the fork handle in my garden!

13 Nov, 2010

Ha ... well I've never seen a Robin up close, so I'll take your word for that. Right now I'm sitting here listening to the Red-Tailed Black Cockatoos having a feast on the Cadaghi Gum flowers and fruit ... I'll be cleaning up the mess all afternoon!

: o )))

Ha ... no Marguerite these little blighters don't seem all that frightened by me! I think it's because they've grown up here and are probably used to me wandering around the garden.

As for those horrid Cockatoos ... I cleaned up that mess and came home from work today to find an even bigger one! Unfortunately it's right where we walk into the courtyard to enter the house!
