There are just so many of these pretty butterflies in the garden right now ... you can't walk anywhere without coming across one or two!

Floralhead ... that tree trunk is all that remains of what was once a very tall Eucalyptus tree growing out in the courtyard garden ... long before it became the courtyard garden. I'm afraid I don't know what type it is ... I'm not much of an expert on Gum trees ... and there are no branches on it so I can identify leaves or flowers.

I think he must have been sunning himself because he sat there for quite some time and I was able to get closer and closer.
