Lovely close-up Amy. I've got a yew tree and I have heard that they are very toxic aswell as the berries. Do you know if this is true?

Thanks for the info DD, is it just the berry or the tree itself? Its a shame isn't it because they are so attractive.

It does look waxy Gee a lot of the berries had fallen to the ground ,which is a worry with so many children on walks round there ..... they are very toxic Lin as Dd says ,I think the whole tree must be because when they cut the huge Yew hedges at Blickling hall they are sent away to be processed as there is something in the cuttings that are used in Cancer cures ........
