Finding a creepy put me off salad for years. Found a baby snail in box grapes the other day!

Well T's gave me my money back. Id bought two packs for £3 but they gave me the full price for one. Some little consolation. Not into grapes at the moment!!!

my stomach still turns at the thought of it..... i love salad and usually have a salad sandwich for lunch.... not today though...
i normally buy little gem lettuce but they didnt have any today so got the iceburg instead... dont know if i will be able to eat it or not....
it would put me of grapes as well Tetrarch.... but glad you got some of your money back...

It wouldn't put me off iceberg lettuce for very long but it would certainly not seem an attractive option for lunch after just finding the worm....and worse for Tetra with a snail in her grapes! Yuk is right.

It must be the reason they tell us to wash (I usually soak!!) salad veg before using it. Sure glad you spotted it before you made that butty!

No like for this lol. I don't mind worms but they're not on my diet sheet lol

i did put it in the garden gee... i havnt been able to eat sald yet it really put me off..........

Reminds me of a meal I had with my mother-in-law to be - found a small caterpillar on the salad, which I discreetly pushed to the side of the plate under a small piece of lettuce - I often wonder if she found it when she washed up :)

ive bought a little gem lettuce today... so i can inspect all the leaves properly... : O )
