Funny you should say that Bellflower, just realised don't seem to have had any nibbled by earwigs this year usually have the odd nibbled flower, wonder why, must be some predator eating them or an earwig shortage, not a bad thing, lol.
A friend gave me this one after me admiring hers last year, she has loads of different ones one her allotment :-)

I like this one , we haven't had the creepy crawlies this year either , not the flies ,wasps , ants etc , we are usually plagued by all of those ........I wonder why ?

Thanks Louise, Greenthumb and Amy:-)
We've just had the wasps recently Amy hubby thinks we've had a nest in the chimney, quite big ones too, had to catch 5 today to put outside, just worried in case the cat gets hold of one, shouldn't be around much longer now its getting colder.

I really must have a go with these larger dahlias, everyone keep putting them on here and it makes me wish I had some too. I think it's the fear of earwigs invading the garden that's put me off in the past. Do you have that problem? Love this colour too.
