These are soooo delicious! I must get some of the white and some of Roma, that lovely pink. They are on my wish list for next spring. Lovely pic Simbad. Added it to my favs as an extra reminder...always losing lists duh!

Yes I love the dark reds and pinks Tetrarch and have tried to grow them from seed with no success, so if anyone knows the secret, will have to look out for plants instead. This popped up in the middle of a plant I swapped with a friend, swap one get one free,lol.

apparently they dont like having their roots disturbed either. If you split one it takes a while to re-establish!

Didn't know that Tetrarch, split my astrantia major last autumn, its grown really lush leaves but no flowers this year, so maybe thats why, hopefully flower next year then:-)

They're such good value-for-money plants aren't they Simbad :-)

Not sure Whistonlass, only ever grown it in the ground does like to be kept well watered though.
Love the reds and pinks Louise really must get some only have this and astrantia 'Major', did try growing some from seed with no success, this was good value came free in a swapped plant,lol :-)
