Oh yes, that's a lovely Cotinus isn't it? I had a very small cutting of one, but it never got going, too small to put in the ground, I kept disturbing it. Need to get a bigger one! I love it!

Karen it's between my 'Puget blue' Ceanothus and the Choisya. The blue and red look lovely together and the dense evergreen foliage covers the gap when the Cotinus is bare in winter :-)

Very clever indeed...you do put a lot of thought in to where you place stuff, and it has really paid off! I especially love all the Ceanothus.....should that be Ceanothi ;)

Thank you Santa Louis :-))) The low wall is a retainer to stop my conservatory sliding down the hill.
