It is so pretty.....Is it not illegal to dig up from the wild?
23 Nov, 2010
Not really sure but I tell you that when people are off doing their olive picking anything that grows on their land and is in their way usually gets chucked out. SO I am preserving the species!!! ;o)))))

It never crossed my mind there would be snowdrops in Corfu Alex! Mind you good job its not in my garden, tried for years..even bought 50 in the green in 2009 and planted under the lilac..Only two showed up in January this year...if I dont see more appear next Jan/Feb I shall NEVER try growing them again!

Maybe they don't like that spot Margo... I didn't know that there were snowdrops on Corfu unitl BJ told me....There are hundreds on the road sides. BJ has got me reading the Flora of Corfu...stunned. I'm going to be busy digging for a long tim (with a big smile on my face).

Excellent photo. Love the colours with the green throat. Does it produce seeds?

Thank you Capegardener. Yes, they do produce seeds. This is my first time growing them, I collected the bulb.
