Are these still in flower now? they certainly live up to their name, I planted 3 bare rooted ones in September hope that they look like yours this time next year;0)

Yes Carol....they've been flowering since the beginning of October, and still there are buds to come....:o) I just called them that, I don't know their proper name, they were in the garden when we came, as a large clump. I split them and there's been so many more flowers. The leaves are evergreen too. I'm sure once yours have settled their roots down, up will come the flowers....:o).

Ooh lovely, I do like Kniphofias. I have `Flamenco` which flowers in early Summer but I`d love one that flowered later. :o)

They are doing a great job aren't they? That border would be totally different without them!

They were Aileen...this was the week before the heavy snows came, most of the Kniphofias perished....there is one small clump just beginning to grow again. These are great for late Autumn though.

They look more of a nice peachy colour, pretty with the Dahlias in the other pic, great colour match! What a shame that a lot of them died, but there's hope with the clump growing now, which is good news! I'm trying to catch up with all the old photos on the site, it will take a while! LOL!
