It stayed mild enough for this rose to open. Now the frosts and colder temperatures are just starting.

That's lovely, I'm witing to see if one of mine that's in bud is every going to open before the weather really finishes it off. You never can tell!

Must admit I was too cold to take a look today, will check on it tomorrow though. I wouldn't want to come into bloom in the freezing cold we have today anyway.
