"Hope this weather doesn't give you too much of a headache!"

Wherever you are, whatever the weather, stay warm, safe, and enjoy your weekend gardening, even if it is just looking out from indoors. :-))

We have snow and it does give me a headache. I think I'd rather walk the plank lol

no how you feel Hywel.

Definitely the best plan - put more wood on the fire crew and don't forget your scarves if you go out on your sledges :o)

Not me Hywel , I couldn't stand being plunged into icy water , I'd much rather have the snow ! our snow was red like this yesterday with a good lot of birds feathers on it , I think a cat must have got it . :o(

Well, the crew has been sledging all day :-))

Cold and wet through now, Hywel, but better than walking off a plank. :-)) That was a shame, Amy. :-(

Get the soup cauldron out David and get yourselves glowing warm again ... :o))

I'd still rather walk the plank than have snow lol

"Oh no, you wouldn't....................!" (are we in panto season yet?) :-))

Oooooh, Amy, that is "creepy" - as if you are watching us, lol!! Cauldron of soup made last night heating up as we speak, and crew simmering in a warm bath! X

Well I would if the pirates were in the Carribean ;o)
Or if I had a wetsuit on ;o)
But I do find snow very depressing.

I do, too, really, Hywel. Always seems to start on a weekend, when nothing can be done. It is now 1 foot deep here, and I have to try to get the car out at 6.00am to go to work in the morning. :-(( But, never fear, perhaps I will, soon, be able to "transport" you to the Caribbean, as I plan to visit the tropical glasshouses in my favourite local park - as soon as I can get out of here. LOL!!!

Oh ! :o( It's worse with you than here. We have about a cm. Everything looks white and dead. I don't understand why people say it's 'pretty'. And it makes me feel depressed .
I will look forward to your blog.
Take care if you're driving through the 'pretty' weather.

Am having to drive in it, Hywel (but I do find it quite exciting, in a way). Took me 3 1/2 hrs to get to work in Edinburgh this morning, but only 2 hrs coming back - normal time, 45mins - lol!

it is "pretty" in the parks, fields, hills and countryside, but so messy in the gardens, streets and roads.

I would like a bit of tropical colour soon, and would like to get there next week, but this white stuff is showing no signs of disappearing, soon. Last night, during a snowstorm, we even got thunder and lightning - very strange!!!

You and your 'pretty' lol ... To me it looks raw and harsh. And makes me feel depressed and rather nauseous :o((

Well I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder (but not this beholder !)
