Winter colour contrast..

Colour contrast with the golden foliage of Pinus mugo 'Carstens' against the coppery hues of Cryptomeria japonica 'Mushroom. Both plants are different shades of green during the summer.

It is lovely...and all the background too! I see lamp posts...does that mean you have no boundary fence BS? it looks amazing...really great!

Bluespruce, could you have a look at my pics and help id some conifers? Also, I have Cryptomeria Japonica 'Globosa Nana' and it's looking very 'brownish'. Is it a bit tender, could it be dead?

Karen, yes there is a boundary fence, you can see it showing far left of the pic.
Cryptomerias are hardy, many varieties turn a bronzy or brownish colour in the winter, as does the one in my pic, but go back to green in the growing season. xx

GOOD NEWS! I did google images and saw that some had a bronzy hue so thought that might be the case!
