Tet, it was a spur of the moment thing...only for a couple of hours as it's just up the hill.

This cafe is fantastic, it sits on top of one of the hills where you can see the village on the other side as well. It has a gorgeous outdoor area with swaying white curtains, bare wood verandas, and very nice decor...

My cold was at it's peek so I stayed inside, I was sneezing and coughing enough.....

Thats a cafe with a view Alex! It looks beautiful, a real pick me up...hope the cold's on the wane.....

We had the same symptoms now it looks like mine is going to last a good two weeks as well.
What drives me crazy is that we had absolute gorgeous weather this week and all I did was look at it. (ok went a few times for coffee)

They are both better than me (I caught it last)...still coughing a little and a runny nose...
Sending both to school tomorrow, little guys trying to get out of it. He's having too much fun at home.

There are a lot of people here suffering with the same symptoms. Maybe we should move to a place where it's always hot and there are not colds around....;o)))

I have several very nice sunset pics from over Point Loma, looking out over San Diego bay I have to post, which I took last week. The weather here in San Diego has been so spring to summer-like over the last 7 weeks or so. It's going to be changes soon with some rain coming in.

The 80ºF/27ºC plus weather is going away for about a week...the weather will be below normal during the next 5 days. :>(

We are waiting for rain.....if it doesn't rain like tomorrow, I need to go water the garden. It hasn't rained in weeks.
I think you are way too spoiled over there Delonix...27C....we're still down in the high teens. When the sun is out and shinning it is absolutely toasty.

Last Saturday most areas around San Diego County had temps at 83ºF/28ºC. or warmer...it was this warm even at the coast (which is typically cooler).

Was watching Animal Planet last night....too many sharks on the California coast for my taste.

LOL! Well, we do have some of the warmest weather in the U.S., in winter (with the exception of s. Florida and Hawaii).

The temps have been above normal 72ºF/22ºC - 88ºF/31ºC. for January and the first half of February.
Our normal temps should be highs of: 67ºF/19ºC on the coast and 70ºF/21ºC. inland. (winter heat waves are very common here though)

There's only a few shark attacks a year, along the CA coast...and very rarely do people get killed by sharks. It's a low percentage considering the amount of sharks and people in the ocean.

We finally got our rain...I can just hear all the plants sighing...;o)
I am so curious to see how many of the cutting I've planted in the garden have rooted....there should be growth soon...

So, do you swim in your shark infested waters??? ;o)

Well, as far as swimming in shark infested water. Absolutely, NOT!!! LOL! :>)

My friends wanted me to go swimming with the Leopard sharks in La Jolla Cove (which is very popular in summer). The sharks are harmless...however, with my luck a giant white shark will come in and mix with the Leopard sharks. :>/
