Meanie you are probably like me and are not too keen on the summer Iris's , these are different ,much nicer ! yes it's Skimmia Dawn , I put the Iris's in here for their first year as they were new , when they have finished flowering I will put them in the lawn with the others ............

That's a good idea Amy, I havent got any in the lawn, just crocus, I could try that.

I have an area under a holly tree before you reach my front door where I have Cyclamen coum ,crocus, iris and snowdrops Dawn , it makes a nice little patch of colour before we start to get other flowers , they have all died down before the lawn needs to be mowed .. :o)
