got this today on our way home from blackburn, always wanted one from this family.

thanx Terra thats good to know, are yours in pots or the ground? not sure where to plant it and how big it gets as the tag was in french lol :o)

I bought mine from a grower who doesn't put tags on, so all guess work... They can grow quite tall ... Mine are in the ground... water well the first year ...
In other (French) words ... beacoup de l'eau ...LOL...

thanx moti and carol, says hardy to -5 sun and sheltered place so i need to find the best place for it away from cold winds in winter, hope it survives our bad winters we are having now.

Nice foliage. I bought one last year and placed in a pot but the leaves were a lot darker than yours Sandra. The leaves are all dead but I'm leaving it in the pot for now in case it sprouts again. It certainly didn't like the cold winter that we had.

thanx linda i was a bit worried about it for winter, iv planted it against the fence in a sheltered spot in hope it will be ok, mine you not sure i will be able to see it once all my plants grow lol

I bought one last summer San and it wasn't affected by the winter at all - which i was pleased about !!!

I have mine in the open ground too and in a fairly sheltered area i suppose.
A few of the tips of the leaves got a bit brown and crispy from the extreme cold but i trimmed them off and it's producing a lot of new growth now.
