love the colours...great plants. The are good multipliers too... really easy to propagate from cuttings as well as seed...(you didn't happen to help with a little pruning while you were there, did you David?) I think I'd have been tempted...

I was tempted, Lori, lol!! Lost all my cuttings during winter when my heating broke down for a week. Will be making more, this year, however.

Tragedy! Was last winter as severe as it was here? Whenever I went to the Uni greenhouses (public ones) I always kept an eye on the floor...sometimes there were leaves or pieces of stem that missed the broom...lol.

Shorter than the previous, but much harsher. I went to work one morning, was stranded there for 3 days, then got home to find the boiler had given up in the meantime. Temps down to only -16C, but the inside of my house was iced over, lol. Took a week for an engineer to get round to calling. House fine, plants all dead. :-(( We used to ask about the various plants first, before taking cuttings and some surrounding compost, lol!

Good grief! minus 16 is pretty cold! Three days at work?!! that's intollerable! Dead plants??? OMG!!!
Things can only get better!
