i took the photo in the dark but i dont think i was asleep ~ had to guess where the flowers were! then i cropped it to make it look a little better. it was meanie's idea to take it under flash cos it doesnt come out so well otherwise ~ no credit to me.
it is hardy meanie ~ been all through the last few winters covered in snow ~ no other protection ~ sometimes down to -12? it is at least 10 years old at a guess ~ well established when we came here 6 years ago; it leans over tho ~ to find the sun i think.

Okay - I see that you're using Paintnet. Go to paintnet help and search for EXIF info. Using that info, you will be able to see how your camera was set up when you took the shot. No need to write it all down. I'll do some research on the Canon Powershot once the man from Virgin has been and made my internet connection 100% reliable!

ah, i thought i should be able to find that info somewhere
you are very helpful ~ many thanks.
had my internet signal improved recently now hoping speed will also be improved.
thanks again meanie

That is beautiful, thank you for sharing! I can't grow Camellia here so I have to look at everyone else's :)

I know that feeling Rk, but it is slightly acidic here ~ luckily; I have 2 camellias, one didnt flower at all but the other drips with flowers in April! It is quite old and is bent over trying to reach the sunlight.
The camellia that didnt flower, I cut back and it was better.
