i think you are right. perhaps apricot cream ~ not mustard!!

I wish, but more lemony than it was:-)

maybe if you put another darker or white next to it then it would show as rich rather than the lemon that you wanted, get another one that is lemon and put them together maybe?

I've got 3 together at the top of bank next to pond, the others don't seem as far forward and I don't know what colour they are..fingers crossed. I will look out for a pretty lemon one though thanks:-)

also perhaps that sambuccas niger ~ the black feathery leaved plant is a stunner and may look very good next to that iris

I do have one by the fence, only small at the moment, and not far from it, sadly the iris has taken a beating from the wind:-(
