Really lovely garden, and a little natural rain is worth all the tap water though isn't it. All of a sudden things started to happen this weekend in my garden, although I have used my water butt to empty, the rain falls at exactly the right rate!!!

I Love these Collared doves,Carole..we have a couple of regulars too,and a young one ,I think..do they have the creamy coloured chest? as I don't know much about them..They seem quite timid, but obviously, yours are used to you now..I always feel sorry for them,as they always seem to miss out on the food, and wait for whatever is left over from the feeders, falling to the ground..

Yes Home bird For-get-me-nots everywhere;0)
I know what you mean Sandra they are a bit slow and seem to get pushed out by other birds too especially the Wood Pigeons! but they are so pretty and gentle looking birds. We have a baby one too I dont know if you have seen the picture yet?
