Funny, the name almost put me off buying it..such a mouthful. But its one of the prettiest coloured poppies I think.

You are sure to Jennyfer..they are easy according to the packet I have...needless to say mine havent germinated but that's no surprise..seeds and me arent good pals!

Oh no, thats a shame :( have you tried putting them in the fridge for a bit first? sometimes they need a bit of cold to break their dormancy

Unfortunately only have a small fridge Jennyfer

if you haven't sown them yet you can just stick them in in their packet, or i use these diddly zip-lock bags, so they take up no space at all and you don't have compost brushing against your peppers or whatever. If not i suppose you could sow some on the surface of a pot of compost in the autumn and let winter do its work :P I hope you have some luck :) If not, maybe some root cuttings?
20 May, 2011
Took root cuttings last year of my Patties Plum (all died) but was successful with China Pink, Turkenlouis and Beauty of Livermere. My sister in law and I have come to an agreement (she's brilliant with seeds), she will grow and I will bring on, what we dont use will go in to the driveway sale and we split the dosh!

haha, sounds like an excellent plan! :)
