Hi simbad, lovely picture, do you mind me asking, my daughter rode her bike into my daylily and a couple of the leaves have gone brown, would you just cut them off to ground level :^)

Thankyou Sticki :-) been here 10 years now where does the time go, our house was a self build designed by my husbands cousin and built by our friend who's a builder.
Thanks Carole think the iris is called 'Action Front identified by a nice Goyer:-)
Thankyou Paul:-)
Glad you like it Daylily:-) yes just cut the dead leaves off it'll soon grow some more, hows your daylily doing do you have buds this year?

Thankyou DD :-) I'll swap you, your gardens gorgeous so much interest for a small garden, love it.
Thats great daylily you should have quite a few flowers this year then, as long as your daughter rides her bike round it:-) our dog has just decided he quite likes seaweed fertilizer!!!!! so having to watch him when he goes out as he'd been digging round some of the daylilies, strange dog.

Bella lugosi is a stunner! Sorry to hear that Amy! Kath, your border looks wonderful, a true herbaceous border in the traditional English style. I think they are very difficult to do well but this one looks a good one!
