Dawn it is Cyperus alternifilous....slightly tender but very attractive.

Gilli we are both fond of bog plants and the only way to grow them was to create the perfect conditions for them on a small scale...bless you Shirley it is more colourful now with the Astilbes out...Thanks Criss we have a lot of rain in the last few days, so good for the garden though.

Sounds like a great idea DD. It's on my list of things to do in the garden....someday!
