Thank you all for your kind comments. The topiary on the right is a prunus (Portuguese Laural) which I shaped a few years ago as a cloud. I made it originally as a swan. A few years ago as the swan was taking up too much space, I had to decapitate it (lol) and make it into a cloud.

Just fabulous, Mossy. And topiary is another of your talents...is there no end? :) Your clematis is looking very healthy and prolific and I see your stump with the heuchera is doing great too. Lovely chair to sit and soak in the peace of a beautiful space.

I am very fond of that wooden planter. I shall have a go at cloud pruning some day. I have a couple of Loniceras that might be just the ticket for a bit of an experiement! The clematis is looking well Mossy, and every time I see your photos I want to take up all my grass!

i saw a program about it today and i would like to do cloud pruning too...mostly because i like the reason why the name cloud was given....
