Yes it is aruncus .I have one in the bog garden but its a pity it doesn't repeat flower. What a lovely front garden you have Stroller.

Glad you like the garden but as I said in last blog I really must do something with the path I hate it.

I've only really noticed Aruncus this year in other people's gardens. I wonder if I thought it was Astilbe in the past....it's similar isn't it, but huge! Lovely!

I do like it Karen, but I think this is getting too large now its perhaps best for very large gardens at back of border. It can look quite messy once its finished flowering the leaves go very brown and being so large look quite a mess.

Oh, that's a shame. Perhaps you could do better then Stroller!

I find the best thing to do with mine is to cut it back. I don't cut mine hard back while the leaves are still looking good but then at the point where it is looking grotty i do.
