Janey, does it fade to almost white? It could be Generous Gardener if it does.

looks the same as mine janey ........... got mine from fryers roses , but like you carnt remeber the name !! you have to have a look ............... see wot you think !1

Thanks everyone, I bought it from Ebay a few years ago as Handel, but it's not that, the wrong colour. The flowers stay for ages and always keep their colour...hardly any scent though.

It has such a soft and soothing colour.I just love it.

It's very pretty Janey ,I'm afraid i'm no help there are so many different ones that it could be !

Whatever variety it is it certainly isn't New Dawn! I've grow New Dawn & it's a much paler pink, almost white at times. But I love them both! :-))

Thank you for all the great comments.....I think you're right Tet, it looks very much like Compassion, it's threading it's way through a plum leafed cherry tree right now, and reaching for the sky alongside an old purple Buddleia, they really look lovely together.....:o)

Yes you're right there Balc, I have New Dawn too, it's much paler Amberqueen, and different shaped blooms, another beauty though.......
