Did you trim these after a first flowering ..
or just let them do their own thing ?

This is their first flowering TT. They were late being sown. My Viola Rebecca, which is perennial, I have just cut back as it was getting straggly and I could see there were new shoots coming from the middle.

Yes it does sort of set them off. Not planned that way.
