I had one a few years ago. I went to Hawai'i for my family reunion and when I returned it never got water and died of heat-stroke! (it was completely dried out).

The yellow is commonly available for sale. I'll eventually buy another one.

I bought a yellow hibiscus!!! Will go take a picture later on this afternoon.

Is your Hibiscus the gigantic flowering yellow or the smaller flowers?

The first row of pics have flowers which are 12in/31cm or more wide. These are the common large flower hybrids which grow in San Diego.

So, then you have the smaller flowering yellow Hibiscus. :>)

Havent' got one bloom on our Hibiscus this year at all, when it does bloom it's White...

My yellow Hibiscus flowered today, it is a small but beautiful flower. My white one (from cutting) flowered today as well and it is really big, four times bigger that the yellow. I took a few pictures but too sunny so I will try again this afternoon. Stuck in the shop now...

Your Hibiscus probably needs a lot more sun!! Mine bloom every day until it gets really cold....I've even seen a few flowers during winter.

We've got sun coming out of our ears lol...been praying for rain, which we're getting a little of at the moment..It's healthy, and growing...but might have been pruned too much at the end of season... :((

I prune my two red ones really hard...maybe yours just needs some more time???
I would love a little bit of rain now....the ground is starting to crack and it's only July!
